William “Bill” N. Hunsaker

William “Bill” N. Hunsaker, 42, of Malad, died Thursday, August 23, 2001, in the Bannock Regional Medical Center due to injuries sustained in an accident while working on an 1-15 highway project.
He was born July 16, 1959, in Ogden, Utah, a son of William D. and Janetta J. Johnson Hunsaker, Bill married Sue Richins in 1975 in Vernal, Utah, and they were later divorced. He married Judy Christensen in 1980, and they also divorced. In November of 1991 he married Shanna Lee.
Bill was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and belonged to the Malad Sixth Ward. For many years he worked in the oil fields near and around the Vernal, Utah, area. He later relocated to northern Utah and was currently residing with his family in Malad, working as a machinist, welder and construction worker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, bowling, rodeos, horses, working on his computer and spending time with his wife and children.
He is survived by his wife, Shanna of Malad; eight children, Danny George, Jeremiah Brent (Merlilee) Hunsaker, Shilo, Janetta Ladee, Kristina, Erin, Kasten, Baylee and Patrick Duchesne.
Also surviving are his parents, Jan and Fat Gardiner, Vernal, Utah; two brothers and stepsisters, Ted (Patty) Gardiner, Lee (Pam) Gardiner and Brad Gardiner, Vernal; Randy (Betty) Gardiner, Robert (Barbara) Hunsaker, Malea (Dave) Hale; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, William D. Hunsaker, and stepmother, Doris; grandparents, Jess and Emma Johnson, Ogden, and Dale and Leah Hunsaker, Brigham City.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 28, 2001, in the Malad LDS Sixth Ward Chapel.
