William “Bill” J. Bell

POCATELLO, ID _ William “Bill” J. Bell, 89, Pocatello, passed away, April 10, 2010 at a local care center.
He was born on July 1, 1920, in Malad, Idaho, to William J Bell Sr. and Mary Rose Bell.
Bill attended schools in Malad, also near Brigham City and near Soda Springs. He served two enlistments in the United States Army and Air Force during World War 11.
Bill married Doris Mathis on November 19, 1954, at Bancroft, Idaho. He had been employed by various farmers in the Soda Springs and Pocatello areas, and also worked for Kracaw Farms in Fort Hall.
Bill enjoyed watching baseball, repairing clocks and loved and enjoyed children. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Bill is survived by his wife, Doris, of Pocatello; a brother-in-law, Calvin (Joan) Mathis, Coeur ‘d Alene, Idaho and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 2 p.m. in Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Pocatello with Bishop Gary Johnson of the Pocatello 44th Ward conducting, with military graveside rites by the Pocatello Veterans Honor Guard.
