Wayne Frederick Buckley

OGDEN – Wayne Frederick Buckley, also known as “JR” to many, age 23, left his earthly home Tuesday, September 13, 2005. He was born January 19, 1982 in Ogden, to Wayne Edward and Brenda (Bremer) Buckley.

Wayne lived in Ogden all of his life. He attended Ogden High School and played football. He also played football and Jr. Jazz in the programs offered through Ogden City. He had worked for the Horsley Company and enjoyed the travel that came along with this job. His favorite place was Germany. He had also worked for Cache Commodities where he was given the job title of “pelleter”.

Wayne had the most infectious and engaging smile; and he was always willing to help anyone. His mom often offered his services; and he never turned her down. He was an AVID outdoorsman, which started when he was quite young. He would go hunting , fishing and camping with his dad. His love for fishing only grew, and became one of his favorite past times. He loved Karl Malone and the rest of the Utah Jazz. He loved the Green Bay Packers and he also was an enthusiastic NASCAR fan.

Wayne is survived by his daughter, Nikaya Saylor-Lynne St. Pierre; his sister, Brianna Dawn Buckley of Ogden and his brother; Brett Garrett Buckley of Ogden; two nephews, Michael and Tanner and three nieces, Chaylene, Jessica and Samantha. He adored them all.

Also surviving is his grandfather, Frederick Edwin Bremer, to whom he was named after, and lots of aunts and uncles. his mom will miss him teasing her with “hey ol’lady, how ya doin’?”

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maurice Robert Buckley, Althea Scott Buckley and Jo-Ann Viola Laird.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 19, 2005 at 10 a.m. at Ben Lomond Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to attend a brunch to CELEBRATE his life after her services at eh Jackson Ward, 1029 26th Street.
