Wayne Bud Waddoups

Malad, Idaho Wayne Bud Waddoups,77 passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2017 in Preston Idaho due to complications of Alzheimer’s. Wayne was born March 22,1940 in Preston, Idaho a son to William Loineld and Cora Burrup Waddoups. He was the 9th child out of 10 kids. He was raised and educated in Preston. Wayne married Marilyn Edgehill in Pocatello, Idaho they greeted 3 boys during their marriage, they later divorced. And Wayne married Julie Bennett where he gained 3 children and together they had a daughter, they later divorced. Wayne remarried his teenage sweetheart and love of his life Marilyn in Fresno, California.

As a child Wayne was always building and rebuilding something bigger and better especially bicycles and cars. His mom used to say sometimes he was too handy for his own good. In those younger days Wayne enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting.

Wayne began his lifelong trade in the sheet metal business doing service work and installing furnaces and air conditioners. He moved on to greener pastures in the business and could say he has traveled from coast to coast in The United States working and running numerous jobs. Wayne loved to travel.

In Wayne’s retired life he enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He loved being outside working on new projects, he found a new love for wood working, and gardening. If he couldn’t be outside he was in the house working on his word search or cooking up something delicious.

Wayne fought a courageous battle. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his family and his dog Zuri.

Survivors include: His wife Marilyn; Children: Jay (Diane); Jefferey (Julie) Young; Crystal (Tim) Rawlings; David Boyle; Lorie Boyle; John (Paige) Boyle; Susan Bauman; Brother: Jed (Zella) 17 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren.

Wayne was preceded in death by his, Parents; Son Melvin Waddoups; 8 Siblings; and a Grandson Kris Cole.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 3,2017 at 12:00 in The Victory Baptist Church, 448 South Main Malad, Idaho. Friends may call prior to the services from 10:30-11:30 at The Horsley Funeral Home, 132 West 300 North Malad, Idaho. Burial will be in The Malad City Cemetery.
