BOUNTIFUL — Walter Thomas Williams, 87, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 1990 at a local hospital.
He was born Aug. 22, 1903, in Samaria, Idaho, to Samuel and Annie Thomas Williams.
He married Arietta Rose Dec. 22, 1925 in Ogden, Utah which was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She preceded him in death on March 5, of this year.
For a good portion of his life he was a farmer. He taught school in Utah and Idaho and was Principal of the Duchesne School in Duchesne.
He served as Bishop of the Samaria, Idaho Ward.
He is survived by children, La Dene W. Richards, Centerville, Utah; Walter Kent Williams, Morgan, Utah; eight grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brothers, William R. Williams, Salt Lake City and Jerry H. Williams, Boise, Idaho.
He was preceded in death by one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 29, 1990, at 12 noon at Russon Brothers Bountiful, Mortuary, 295 N. Main St., Bountiful, where friends may call Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services.
Interment will be in the Samaria
