Our mother, grandmother, wife and neighbor passed into eternity December 10, 2004 from causes incident to age. Born July 5, 1917 in Malad, Idaho to Marshall A. and Amy Taylor McEntire. Married James R. Howell in Salt Lake City, UT, November 14, 1935. He died October 8, 1966. Married Max B. Beckstead September 27, 1968. He died December 27, 1992.

She was a caring mother and grandmother who worked diligently her whole life. She graduated from South High School at age 17 and worked from that time on. She served for many years as the office manager for Safeway stores bread plant. She was a classy lady who kept her sense of humor to the end. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and traveling.

Survived by one son, James R. (Jane) Howell, Jr., a stepson, Bruce Beckstead; and a stepdaughter, Vickie Casper; a sister, Betty Jean (John) Crossley of San Diego, CA; and nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Preceded into eternity by her parents; brothers, Eldon McEntire, Marshall McEntire; and sisters, Mabel Hilton, Maurine Murphy.

Funeral services to be held at Larkin Mortuary on December 14, 2004. Burial in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
