Violet Kinghton Capell

Arimo…Violet Kinghton Capell, 85, daughter of James and Harriet (Tovey) Knighton and wife of William “Kenneth” Capell passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at her home in Arimo, Idaho.
Violet was born and raised in Moore, Idaho. Violet attended Ricks College were she received her Teaching Certificate. She taught for two years in Shelly, Idaho and then came to Arimo in 1949. It was here she met Kenneth. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple and have lived in Arimo ever since.
She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many of the church organizations, as well as at the Logan Temple as a worker. She Loved her home and garden. Violet enjoyed Tatting, netting, quilting, and other handy work as well as painting and canning. She was known for sharing these with family and friends.
Violet is survided by her husband Kenneth, sons Glade(Sherry) Capell, Raymond(Cynthia) Capell, Kendal (Blyss) Capell, Sheldon (Suzanne) Capell, daughters Jeneane (Rodney) Boehme, Pamela (Clair) Monson, 28 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren with more on the way.
Funeral services will be held on Monday April 23 at 11:00 a.m. in the Arimo LDS Stake Center. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday evening from 7:00-8:00p.m. at the Horsley’s Marsh Valley Funeral Home, 570 N Meadowview Dr., and again on Monday from 9:30-10:45a.m. at the church prior to the service.
