Tommy G. Dixon

Tommy G. Dixon, 65, passed away April 6, 2008 with the love of his life and family by his side. Tommy was born February 24, 1943 to Thomas Clifford and Dorthea Dixon Finch in Lehi, UT.

Tom was a very talented auto body painter for 40 years. He owned many auto body shops around Utah and California. Tom was also an accomplished businessman, real estate developer and entrepreneur.

Tom loved life and made every day an adventure. This adventurous spirit took him many places and his contagious smile made everyone he met an instant friend.

Tom was always a giving person and continued that trait up until the very end by giving his daughter Shauna, the ultimate gift of life, his kidney.

Tom is survived by his mother, his one true love and soul mate, Joyce Johnson, six children: Rick (Renae) Dodgen, Pavillion, WY; Sherita Dixon, California; Shauna Dixon, Ogden; Debbie (Mike) Mounteer, Morgan; Dennis (Emily) Dixon, Layton; and Alex Dixon, Mckinleyville, CA; five siblings, Cliff Dixon, Ogden, Jim (Shirley) Dixon, Malad, ID; Danny (Vivian) Dixon, Ogden, Kelly (Linda) Dixon, Kaysville and Mary Ann (Ray) Wilson, Lake Point; 16 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father, step-father Thomas Finch, nephew Matt Wheeler and niece Erin MacKenzie.

Memorial services will be held April 20, 2008 at Roy LDS Foxglen ward. Cremation under the direction of Leavitt’s Mortuary.
