PRESTON — Thomas Edmund Howell, 83, died Friday, Dec. 23 at the Franklin County Care Center in Preston.
He was born March 5, 1905 at Woodruff, to John C rum well and Margaret Rebecca John Howell.
He married Ida Lewis June 19, 1935 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.
He was a farmer. He served an LDS mission to the northwestern states. He was a president in the Seventies Quorum for 30 years. He was a high priest group leader.
He is survived by his wife of Preston; a daughter, Mrs. Douglas (Ann) Forsgren, Gilbert, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; six sisters, Rose Harris, Kearns, Utah; Nan Buckrom, Spanish, Fork, Utah; Wanda Williams, Pocatello; Zelda Morgan, Malad; Nola Harrison, Salt Lake City; and Twila Oxborrow, St. George, Utah. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Scott Forsgren.
Funeral services will be at noon on Tuesday in the Fairview LDS chapel with Bishop Floyd J. Jensen conducting. Friends may call at Webb Funeral Home on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the ward chapel on Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richmond
