Thomas Dale Davis

Thomas Dale Davis, 85, lifetime resident of Malad, died Thursday, August 6, 1992, in American Fork, Utah.
He was born May 21, 1908, in Malad, a son of Thomas J. and Rachael Ann Jones Davis. He grew up and was educated in Malad, and as a young man he raised his own sheep herd. He married Eunice Afton Rose September 1, 1937, in Malad. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple February 17, 1965. She died January 3, 1984.
Mr. Davis had farmed and ranched all of his life and had operations in Bannock and Oneida counties. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed cattle, farming and horses.
He is survived by three sons, Tarrel ‘Tad” Davis, Joe Ray Davis and Parley Davis, all of Malad; one daughter, Mrs. Kent (Lynette) Grange, of Lindon, Utah; 10 grand-children and seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harold Davis, Salt Lake City, and Zepheniah Davis of Ogden, Utah. He was preceded in death by his wife, five brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held Monday at noon in the St. John LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Rex Daniels officiating. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
