Steven Spencer Mitchell

Clinton – Steven Spencer Mitchell, born March 29, 1983, was called home to his Father in Heaven, Saturday, October 27, 2001, at the young age of 18.
He passed away in an automobile accident near Rupert, Idaho doing what he loved best; hunting with his best friend and cousins.
Steven enjoyed four-wheeling, fishing, playing with his dog Toby and camping at the family getaway. He liked hanging out with his brother and sister, and always made it known that although he was the youngest, he was their “big” brother.
We will always remember Steven’s smile and bright eyes as he teased his Mom and worked alongside his Dad. He was well liked by those who worked with him.
Steven was a plumber, attending DATC and was a senior at Northridge High School. He was a Priest in the Clinton 16th Ward.
Steven will be greatly missed by his parents, Fred and Laura Mitchell, his sister, Kelly Jean, and brother Ryan Fredrick. He was the grandson of Norma Spencer and the late Henry Spencer; Cherril Mitchell, and the late James and Sally Mitchell.
The family would like to thank the people of the Malad area who befriended Steven. He enjoyed his place on the Malad Summit where he spent his last six summer’s enjoying the beauty of nature.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 1, 2001, at 11:00 a.m. at the Clintion 16th Ward, 1288 West 1300 North with Bishop Steve Byington officiating. Interment in the Clinton City Cemetery.
