Steven Martel Lish

Steven Martel Lish, of Inkom, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010, in Arizona.
Steven was born on February 19, 1947, in Pocatello, Idaho to Herman Martel Lish and Doris Jean Horning Lish. He lived most of his life in Inkom, living a short time in Pocatello, Island Park and Alaska.
Steven graduated from Marsh Valley High School in 1965 and then worked for the Pacific Fruit Express (Union Pacific Railroad) for several years until he was forced to retire due to an injury. He also served in the National Guard for nineteen years.
He married Betty Kelley and share two sons, Jeffery Todd and Steven Troy. They later divorced.
He married Marsha Peterson and they share two sons, Phillip and Richard. They were later divorced.
Steven is survived by four sons Todd (Sarah), Troy, Phillip (Shawna) and Richard (Kim) and seven grandchildren as well as two sisters, Judy (Russ) Campbell and Janet Lish both of Inkom. He is also survived by numerous friends, including a very special friend, Linda, who has been by his side during his most recent trials and was with him at his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Gary Lynn, a grandchild, Rachel and his wife Marsha.
Funeral services are under the direction of Marsh Valley Funeral Home and will be conducted by Bishop Gordon Lish. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at the Inkom LDS Church. There will be a viewing from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the Inkom Church. Burial will be at the Inkom Cemetary.
