Steve Brian Trimmell

Steve Brian Trimmell 56 of McCammon, Idaho.
Steve passed away on October 3rd, 2009, from a long-term illness. He was surrounded by his loved ones.
Steve was born on March 30, 1953, in Wichita, Kansas. Steve was the son of Donald and Phyllis (Stryker) Trimmell. He attended school in Manteca California.
He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1970. While Steve was stationed in Guam he met and married the love of his life, Sharon Osborn on April 8, 1972.
Steve was medically discharged from the Navy. Later he worked as a Federal Police Officer at Sharps Army Depot in Lathrop, California. He was Medically retired from Sharps Depot in 1989.
In June of 1989, Steve and Sharon moved to McCammon, Idaho where he was involved with coaching kids in baseball. Steve was a member of the Lava Hot Springs re-in-actors Old West Gunfighters and Bank Robbers. Steve also loved to be out fishing, hunting and 4 wheeling with family and friends.
Steve is survived by his wife Sharon of the home, brother John Griblin (Linda) of Escalon, California, sisters Connie Shelton (Patrick) of Geuda Springs, Kansas, Claudia Meiners (Bill) of McCammon, Idaho. Niece Athena Bonham-Galenzer (Martin) and their Daughter Marissa.
Lloyd Osborn (Rosita) of Guam, Tom Osborn (Judith) of Long Beach, California, Larry Osborn (Linda) of Guam, Gayle Osborn of Guam, Leonard Osborn (Suzu) of Guam, Gary Osborn (Linda) of Tacoma, Washington. He will be missed and remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Donnie Trimmell, and nephew Levi Bonham.
Funeral services for Steve will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the McCammon LDS Stake Chapel, with no prior visitation. Burial will follow in the Norton Cemetery, with military rites. A complete obituary will follow in Thursday’s Idaho State journal. Services are under the direction of Horsley’s Marsh Valley Funeral Home.
