Shannon Lee Duncan

Shannon Lee Duncan, 37, of 4600 Hiline Road No. 12, passed away Tuesday evening, January 28, 1992, at Pocatello Regional Medical Center following an illness.

She was born March 17, 1954, at Pocatello, Idaho, the daughter of Gary and Myrna JoAnn Martin Duncan. She attended elementary schools in Pocatello, and graduated from High-land High School in 1972. She attended Idaho State University for almost four years. She was a member of the AOP sorority in college.

On November 3,1983, she married David A. J. Duncan at Elko, Nevada. He was serving with the U.S. Navy, and they made their home in Virginia, Connecticut, and California prior to recently returning to Pocatello.

Shannon was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She did beautiful handwork, ceramics and oil paintings.

Survivors include her husband and parents, all of Pocatello; a brother, Gary L. Duncan Jr., Pocatello; three sisters, Mrs. John (Maria) Moreland, St. Anthony, Mrs. Ron (Wendy) Hellstern, Logan, Utah, and Kym Danis, Pocatello; six nieces and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and a niece.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 1,1992 at 1 p.m. at the Manning Funeral Chapel, with Bishop John Cuoio of the Pocatello LDS 16th Ward officiating. Interment was in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
