Sevella Mansfield Palmer

Ogden, Utah- Sevella Mansfield Palmer, 88 died February 2, 1993 at the home of her daughter in Ogden, Utah.

She was born March 24, 1904, in Samaria, Idaho the daughter of Samuel W. and Mary Jane Williams Mansfield. She married David Clair Palmer Dec.22, 1923, in Ogden, Utah. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple Sept. 17, 1924. He died May 7, 1980.

She was active in the Relief Society as a visiting teacher and a secretary of the Primary. She devoted her life to her family, and enjoyed quilting and handwork.

She is survived by two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Lyman S.(Ramona) Wiser and Allen Bruce Palmer, bother of Ogden, Utah; Clytia Erickson, Logan, Utah; and Douglas Dee Palmer, Salt Lake City, Utah; 11 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frank W. and Calvin W., bother of Salt Lake City, Utah; and a sister, Hazel McNally, Ogden, Utah.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 6, 1993, at 1 p.m. in the Preston North Stake Center, with Bishop Douglas S. Webb conducting. Friends may call at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E Oneida, Preston, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Preston Cemetery.
