Scott William Christensen

Scott William Christensen “Scotty” rejoined all the angels of Heaven. Our angel, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 30, 2008. Scotty was born May 23, 1962 in Murray, Utah to Harold Ray and Billie Ann Christensen. Scotty enjoyed many simple things in life, going for daily rides to see Union Pacific trains, having them wave and blow the horns long and loud. He loved the new front runner, trips to Malad, Idaho were special for him to see his aunt and uncle, stops at McDonald’s were a must. The longest love affair Scotty had was his love for country music and hank Williams. It started when he was six or seven years old and lasted for 40 years. Scotty loved all the nieces and nephews, they treated him like the angel he was. He graduated from Hartvigsen School and Seminary in 1984. Scotty participated in the scouting program and was given the honor of a super scout by Governor Matheson. Scotty touched the lives of many. He was a blessing to all that came to know him. No one was a stranger and if he didn’t know your name he’d give you one, he loved to introduce people. He was a treasure to our family, a choice spirit, a real angel.

He is survived by his loving parents, siblings; Julie (Mike) Bennett, Linda (Russ) McCloud, Steven (Shelley) Christensen, Holli (Todd) Timothy, Cindy (Craig) Williams, 23 nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, all who loved him dearly. He’ll be sorely missed by many special neighbors.

Scotty was preceded in death by his grandparents, Uncle Bud and cousins Shane and Ann.

Funeral services will be held September 4, 2008 at Taylorsville Park Ward Chapel. Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Estates.
