Riverdale – Sarah E Barkdull 87, returned home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, april 25, 1993.

She was born to Peter J and Margaret M Hughes Ericksen on May ?, 1905 in Malad, Idaho.

She married Francis Stoddard. They were later divorced. She married Grandpa Ross (Ross Barkdull) who passed away Aug 18, 1972.

She had been employed at the Ogden Arsenal, St. Benedict’s Hospital, Deseret Industries, an served as a senior companion volunteer.

She was a faithful member of the LDS Church.

She deeply loved spending time with her family and especially dedicated to her granddaughter and three great-grandchildren. Cindy Hymas, Jody Hymas, Sarah Monica Hymas, Boren and Cody Hymas. She will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by one son, John Barkdull (Johnny),, one sister, Alta Jensen, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and two great-great-grandsons.

She was loved by everyone who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lindquist Ogden Mortuary, 2408 Washington Blvd., Tuesday from noon to 12:45 p.m.
