Sandra Irene Pincock Struhs

Sandra Irene Pincock Struhs passed away on February 2, 2020 surrounded by what she loved most, her family.

She was born on June 27, 1952, in Sugar City, Idaho, to Grant and Elene where she joined two older brothers, Jerry and Dennis. She dearly loved her mom and dad. Sandra had many stories of how her brothers tormented and teased her in their younger years, but it’s obvious that they were a very close trio, and her brothers loved her dearly. Sandra will be happy to be reunited with her beloved parents and brother Dennis.

Sandra married Rodney Struhs, her best friend and husband of 47 years, in the Salt Lake Temple in 1972. Corey was the first of three boys to join their family in December of 1973, but at two months old, he returned to his Heavenly Father. Sandra will be overjoyed to see her little boy again. Patrick and then Jeffrey were blessed to join their parents in a few years time. Sandra gave everything to be the best mother to them. Being their mom was one of her greatest joys in life, and she was endlessly proud of her boys.

Sandra was also able to spend some time working in various positions. She was a florist, baker, secretary and manager to name a few. Some of her most exciting jobs were at The Idaho Enterprise, Oneida County Sheriff’s office and as an EMT in Malad. Sandra enjoyed working with others and making friends.

Sandra was excited to be a grandma and loved her seven grandchildren. Just like she did for her boys, she spoiled her grandchildren and would do anything for them. She loved to be with her grandkids, and would often come support them at concerts and games.

Sandra loved with all her heart and was loved dearly by all who knew her. Sandra loved her family above anything else, and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be remembered for her kindness and love for her family. She had a great sense of humor and had a way of making everyone feel loved. Sandra was an extraordinary person who will be missed. Loving her family was her mission, and she fulfilled it completely.

Her family would like to thank our friends and family for their kindness and support given to us during this difficult time.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 8, 2020 at 12 noon in the Horsley Funeral Home located at 132 W. 300 N. in Malad, Idaho. Burial will follow in the Malad City Cemetery. Friends and family may visit with the family from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.
