Ronald Dean Hall

Ronald Dean Hall passed Thursday, September, 3 rd 3:15 AM in Rock Springs MemorialHospital after a long battle with cancer at the age of 72. He was a long time resident of Green River, Wyoming for the last 33 years. He was born on April 12, 1943 in Pocatello, Idaho, the son of Eldred and Genevieve Hall. He wasraised in McCammon, Idaho in his younger years and his family moved to Lava Hot Springs, Idaho where he went to grade school on up. He graduated from Marsh Valley High School in Arimo, Idaho. He went on to receive a 5 year degree with a Master’s degree in Forestry and a Minor in Education. He spent 12 years of his career teaching in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. He then moved to Wyoming and changed careers to construction and pipefitting. He retired from the Local Union 192 in 2005.His interests were farming, fishing, hunting and playing cards at the senior center. Shared competition was spread throughout the family with card games that could last for hours. He is survived by wife Barbara Hall, resident of Green River, Wyoming, his son Brent Hall partner Kate, Rayme Hall partner Bob, and Brooke and Mike Butcher of Loveland, Colorado. Grandchildren are Skylor LadigesHall, Baylee Butcher, Brexton Butcher, Dean Hall, and Weldon Hall. His brother Max Hall and wife Janie of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Leroy Hall, and granddaughter, Hope Hall. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12 at 1:00 p.m. in the (Changed) Downey LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 11:00 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at the church prior to the services. Burial will follow in the Downey City Cemetery.
