Funeral Today For Robert T. Bush

Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) at the Malad Second ward LDS Chapel for Robert Thomas Bush, 86, who died Monday (14 Nov. 1955) at the Oneida Hospital of causes incident to age.

Mr. Bush was born at Malad, May 9, 1869, a son of Robert Thomas and Emelia Brockway Bush. A member of the LDS Church, he married Mary Williams Waylett, Dec. 31, 1891 at Malad. She died six years ago. Mr. Bush engaged in farming during his active adult life.

Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Robert Bush, Riverside, Calif.; Vernon, Jay C., Mrs. L. W. (Delila) Larsen, all of Ogden; David L. Boise; Mrs. James B. Jones, Warren L. Malad; Mrs. A. H. (Mary) Nelson, Morgan, Utah; 26 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

Bishop Myron Sorensen of the Second ward will officiate at the services. Musical numbers will include the prelude and postlude by Mrs. Myra Jean John; songs, Melvin Atkinson and Jenkin Palmer. Scheduled to speak are James B. Jones, William H. Rutter and Bishop Sorensen. Prayer at the home will be offered by Wayne Bush; invocation, James Madsen; benediction, C. H. Sweeten, dedicatory prayer, J. Guy Benson, Pallbearers will be grandsons of Mr. Bush.
