Soda Springs, Idaho, Robert Joe Burgin, 69, longtime Soda Springs resident, passed away on Tuesday May 14, 2013. Bob was born on February 4, 1944 in Pocatello, Idaho, a son of Paul and Deaun Burgin. He married Paula Tarbet on September 23, 1972 in Elko, NV. He is survived by his wife and 3 children; Gina and (Jim) Hoff of Ellensburg, WA, Alicia and (Roger) Price of Idaho Falls, ID, and Robert and (Don) Burgin of Kalamazoo, MI. 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. And siblings Clarice Daybreast of Blackfoot, ID, Marshall and Vena Burgin of Lava Hot Springs, ID, Yvonne and (Diggs) Lewis of ALpine, WY, Carl and Joanne Burgin of Longview, WA, Judy and (Ho) Nix of Jerome, ID. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Dorothy Lancaster, brother-in-law Dallin Tarbet and niece Chris Lancaster. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 1 pm in the Hooper LDS Ward Chapel in Soda Springs, ID. Friends may visit the family on Monday from 11-12:45 pm prior to the service.
