LAYTON – Robert G. Larson, age 74, passed away Friday, March 13, 1998 in Washington Terrace.

He was born September 11, 1923 in Pleasant View, Idaho, a son of John Hemfred and Seima Maria Grell Larson.

Robert married Gloria Irene Blunt on September 20, 1950. She passed away January 4, 1988.

He served a mission in Sweden and was a High Priest. He taught school at E. M. Whitesides, was principal at West Bountiful Elementary and Vae View Elementary in Layton, and retired as principal at South Weber Elementary.

Robert served his country during World War II with the Army Air Force.

He is survived by two sons, Robert B. Larson and Curt L. Larson; two daughters, Luanne Larson and Mrs. Jeff (Janette) Reed. One grandson, Bryce Reed; four brothers and four sisters.

He was preceded in death by his wife and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road, Tuesday, March 17, 1998 at 11 a.m. Friends and family will meet Tuesday from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
