After a number of years, he left the tax commission and went to work for Morton Thiokol of Utah in their Accounting Department. Though Randy enjoyed his work there, he missed seeing his little girl and returned to Boise and the Tax Commission. At the age of 32, he was appointed Bureau Chief of Motor Fuels. Randy, then met a beautiful young woman, Sherise Thomas. They were married in Cascade Idaho in 1984. They made their home in Boise and were blessed with a little girl, Molly. He loved participating in activities with Sherise’s family and spending time with his two daughters. They were married five years.
Randy went to work for Heinz in accounting for a number of years. Unfortunately, their offices were moved to Pittsburgh, PA. He was given the opportunity to transfer, but he did not want to be so far away from his daughters, so he transferred to the ORE-IDA plant in Ontario, OR as their Controller. He worked there for six years, but due to his father’s illness he returned to Malad with daughter, Molly. In the following years, he made his home in Boise and Malad. After his father’s death, he remained in Malad with his mother.
