Randall Lewis Coburn

Randall Lewis Coburn, 67, of Millsap, Texas, and former Malad resident died Wednesday, September 13, 2006 in a Forth Worth, Texas hospital following a stroke.

Randall was born February 8, 1939 in Smithfield, Utah, a son of F. Lewis Coburn and Fawn Andrus Coburn Luna. He married Marian in May, 1960 in Big Springs, Texas, and they were later divorced. He married Guntima Ovata of Thailand in November, 1972 and they later divorced. He married Marilyn Thomas of Malad in February, 1982 and they were divorced in 1985. Born to this union was one daughter, Dori Lynne. Randall was retired from the U.S. Air Force.

Randall was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Carol Apodaca; and a daughter, Robin Blue.

He is survived by his wife, Marian Coburn of Millsap, Texas: daughters Donna (Mike) Messinger, Peaster, Texas; Vicki (Rickey) Craig, Springtown, Texas; Cindy (Terry) Clary, Millsap, Texas; and Dori (Johnny) McManus, Idaho Falls, Idaho; a son: Randall L. (Tonya) Coburn, Jr., Millsap, Texas; step-daughter, Anita Martin, Arlington, Texas; and step-son Rusty Martin; 21 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are his sisters: Sandra Gomez, Fresno, California; Dixie (Ron) Barker, Fruitland, Idahop; Janet (Tom) Deschamps, Malad; Vicki (John) Lara, Casa Grande, Arizona; Jolene Salazar, Lewisville, Texas; Brenda Luna, Tolleson, Arizona; Debra (Charlie) Martinez, Homedale, Idaho; brothers: Johnny Luna, Ontario, Oregon and Dennis (Alma) Luna, Hermiston, Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Military rites and burial were held Saturday, September 23, 2006 at the Millsap Cemetery, Millsap, Texas.
