Rachel “Rae” Florence Williams, 84, of Malad, died Tuesday November 30, 1993 in Pocatello.

She was born April 22, 1909, a daughter of Joseph Haines and Rachel Morse Williams, She grew up and was educated in Samaria, Idaho.

She had worked for a short time in Boise, and was employed for many years in the Oneida County Assessor’s office. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served as a teacher and in the music program.

Ms. Williams never married. She is survived by two nephews, Lynn Davis of Salt Lake City, Utah; Hugh Williams, of Provo, Utah; one niece, Marilyn Neal of Provo. She is survived locally by a niece-in-law, Louise Davis, Malad; and a sister-in-law, Maria Williams, also of Malad. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sister.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 2 at 12 noon in the Malad LDS 2nd Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Benson-Horsley Funeral Home on Thursday prior to services. Burial in Samaria Cemetery.
