Quentin Frederick

Quentin Frederick, 77, of Malad, Idaho passed away Wednesday, June 3, 1998, at the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden. Mr. Frederick was born November 9, 1920, at Providence, Utah, the son of Myron J. And Eola Rigby Frederick. He was raised and educated in Cache Valley. He was married to Bernice Ewer on September 9, 1941, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have also lived in Ogden, Tremonton and Malad since 1970. He retired from Utah Power & Light in 1981. He served as a High Priest in the Malad First Ward. He also served as Ward Clerk in Tremonton and Scout Master in Malad.

He is survived by his wife Bernice of Malad; three sons and their spouses: Quentin K. & Marianne Frederick, El Toro, California; Glade & Kriss Frederick, New Castle, Indiana; Craige & Sue Frederick, Huntington Beach, California; also, 10 grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters: R. Dahl Frederick, Ogden Utah; Cloyd Frederick and Erwin Frederick both of Providence, Utah; Orean Bodily, California; Arleva Secrist, Logan, Utah; Bonnie Miller, Sandy, and Sarah Schoonmaker, Ogden, Utah, Mr. Frederick was preceded in death by one son, Carnell, and a brother, Myron.

Funeral services were held Saturday June 6, 1998, at the Malad LDS First Ward Chapel. Burial was in th Providence, Cemetery in Providence, Utah.
