Pearl Wilcox Goodwin

Pearl Wilcox Goodwin, 93, long-time resident of Soda Springs, Idaho, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2001, at the Oneida Nursing Home Center.
She was born June 12, 1908, in Davisville, Idaho, west of Soda Springs, a daughter of Thomas Lewis and Sarah Poppleton Gunnell. She was one of thirteen children. She attended schools in Davisville, Alexander, and Soda Springs.
She met and married Boyd Edwin Wilcox September 26, 1928. He was her husband for eleven years. He died of a ruptured appendix. Later she met and married William Robert Goodwin. They lived in Soda Springs where Mr. Goodwin mined for Simplot and Anaconda Mining Company.
Survivors include: one son, Robert S. Goodwin, Spanish Fork; two daughters, Vera Bayer(George), Clinton, Utah; and Carma Barger (Delos), Downey, Idaho; eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Boyd, her husband, Robert, and her thirteen brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held Monday, September 17, 2001, at Soda Springs Idaho Stake Center. Interment was in the Fairview cemetery.
