Funeral Rites For Oliver Williams
Impressive funeral services were held In the Samaria chapel Sunday for , 54, who died at his home Thursday from a heart attack. Bishop D. M. Price conducted the services as follows: Songs; by the St. John male quartet; Invocation, D. M. Williams; solo, Mrs. Max Williams; remarks, Samuel Williams; duet, Mrs. Merle Lusk and Mrs. Maude Jones; remarks, President Thos. W. Richard’s; violin solo, Mrs. Fern Willie; remarks, R. N. Hill; solo. Stillman Harris; benediction. Jonah M. Evans.
Interment was made at the Samaria cemetery with David Hughes dedicating the grave.
Prayer was offered at the home prior to the services by Owen T. Davis. Pallbearers were nephews of the deceased and flower girls were nieces and clos£ friends.
