Norman Ross Evans

Former Malad resident, Norman Ross Evans, 75, passed away at his home in Panorama City, CA on November 9, 2013 from heart failure.
Norman was born February 27, 1938 in Downey, Idaho, the fifth child of John Owens Evans and Gladys Christensen Evans. After the family moved to Malad in 1955, Norm established friendships that remained with him throughout his life. He was sealed to Lois Jean Kern of Malad in 1958 in the Logan LDS Temple, later divorced. They have three children, Kelly, Kim and Tina as well as 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He married Peggy Noble in 1970, later divorced.
Norm was a Naval veteran and loved serving his country. Although his adult life was spent primarily in California, part of his heart was always in Idaho.
Norm leaves behind his wife, Sally, and a stepson, Chuck. He also leaves behind many sisters, brothers, and family members who loved him and made great memories together hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved nature and the outdoors. He became quite a gardener at his home in California, one thing that his mother loved too! He will be buried in CA.
