Norman was born February 27, 1938 in Downey, Idaho, the fifth child of John Owens Evans and Gladys Christensen Evans. After the family moved to Malad in 1955, Norm established friendships that remained with him throughout his life. He was sealed to Lois Jean Kern of Malad in 1958 in the Logan LDS Temple, later divorced. They have three children, Kelly, Kim and Tina as well as 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many sisters, brothers, and family members who loved him and made great memories together hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved nature and the outdoors. He became quite a gardener at his home in California, one thing that his mother loved too! He will be buried in CA.
