Norma Jean Bybee

Norma Jean Bybee 85 passed away peacefully at home April 20, 2016 in Seminole, TX. She was born in Fairview, ID on June 13, 1930 to Vernon and Mae Harris. She grew up in Fairview until the family moved to Downey, Idaho when she was 14. At 17 she met the love of her life Rex William Bybee while working at Jack’s Café, they later married August 3rd, 1949. They moved to Ogden, Utah in 1952 where the raised all four of their children. When they retired in 1989, they settled back in Downey where they had 30 acres to enjoy their grandchildren, horses and raising sheep. In 2005 they moved to Pocatello before moving to Seminole, Texas in September of 2015. She is survived by her husband Rex of 66 years, sisters Charlotte (Terry) Evans of Pocatello, Idaho, Shirley Lowe of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Son Daniel Rex (Annette) Bybee of Brigham City, Utah, Daughters Janet (Rick) Casanova of Las Vegas, Nevada, Sandra (Tom) House of Seminole, Texas, 9 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Father and Mother, daughter Carolyn Bybee, one sister and three brothers. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 27 at 12 noon in the Horsley’s Marsh Valley Funeral Home, 570 N. Meadowview Dr. in Arimo. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday morning from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to the service.
