Neva J. Crump, 86, passed away February 13, 2008 at Upper Marlboro, Maryland. She was born October 21, 1921 to Royce and Ella Von Jones. She attended Malad schools, graduating from Malad High School in 1939. She received many awards and was Salutatorian. She was active in band and basketball, with eight of the 13 girls being Jones’s. After graduation from South Branch (Idaho State University) in 1941, she went on to work in Washington D.C. for the government, where she met her husband, the late Milton m. Crump, Sr.

Neva is the mother of four children; Milton (Cindy) Crump, Owen (Julie) Crump, Cindy (David) Jacobs and the late Ralph Crump; grandmother of Richard, Greg, Stacey, Milton, Alicia, Crissy and Jessie; great-grandmother of eight; sister of Royce Jones and Betty (Dan) Daniels. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

An Eastern Star service was held. Funeral services were held Monday, February 18 at St. Thomas Episcopal Parish in Croom, Maryland. Interment was in the church cemetery.
