Nelda Howard Black, age 84, passed away September 16, 2012 at her home in San Diego, California, with her family by her side.

She was born September 12, 1928 to William O. and Mildred Howard in Malad City, Idaho.

She married Robert L. Black in Salt lake City, Utah on September 14, 1948. They were blessed with five children: Bob and June Black of Tucson, AZ; Randy (deceased) and Joy Black of Phoenix, AZ; Gary and Judy Black of Lancaster, CA; Jan and DelMar Eldredge of Livermore, CA and Kathy Black of New York City. She is also survived by two brothers: Brent and Bonnie Howard of Malad City and mark and Debbie Howard of Cedar Hill, UT; and 19 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Black; a son Randy, and a brother, Ordell Howard.

Graveside services were held September 22 in California.
