Graveside services will be conducted here Saturday at 11 a.m. for Mrs. Naomi Welling, age 71, who died March 21st at Venice, California. Friends may call at Benson Funeral Home Saturday morning from nine a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Malad City Cemetery.
Mrs. Welling was born Jan. 5, 1899, at Malad, a daughter of Gomer and Joan Williams Thomas. She married J. D. Welling Nov. 30, 1918 and they were later divorced. Mrs. Welling had been reared by an aunt, Mrs. Annie Goddard, after her mother’s death. Surviving are five sons and two daughters, Eldon, Blair, Jerry, Brent, California; Cordell, Las Vegas; Mrs. Victor (Joan) Godfrey, Mrs. DeRoy (Cleopha) Lillywhite, Ogden.
