Nannette (NoNo) Hess Shaw

Malad – Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Daughter was born on March 19th, 1948 in Malad City, Idaho to Mary Jean Hughes and Lowell Jay Hess. She graduated from Bear River High School. She married Donald J. Hess on May 11th, 1968. They later divorced. Nannette passed away on October 14th, 2009, at age 61, in Malad City, Idaho.

Her passions in life were her children, her grandchildren, her family, and bowling. She attended National bowling tournaments for about 25 consecutive years. She was such a big part of the Junior and Adult bowling leagues for almost 40 years.

Mom is survived by her three sons, Donald Jay and Marcy Hess and their children Hailey and Alana. Jeffery Dee and Mindy Hess and their children Caitlin and Jeffery, Jr. Joseph Jed Shaw, and Great Granddaughter, Alexzandriah Megan. She is also survived by her mother, two brothers, Lowell and Shirley Hess and Gomer Hess, and two sisters, Deborah and Brent Stokes and Teresa and Brig Jones, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday October19, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the Malad 6th Ward LDS Chapel, 200 W 400 N. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W 300 N and again on Monday from 1:30-2:45p.m. at the church prior to the service.
