Myrna K. Brangham Foster, 77, passed away after a long illness Tuesday, August 5, at a care center in Boise, Idaho. Myrna was born June 13, 1937, in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho to William R. (Bill) and Evva Kennington Brangham. During her first nine years, she lived South of Pocatello in Portnuff and attended a one-room school. In 1946, she moved with her parents to Chesterfield, Idaho. She started school in Bancroft in the fourth grade and attended school there until her graduation from North Gem High School in 1955. After her graduation, she moved to Pocatello to work. She married Kelton O. Godfrey in 1956. Together they had three children Debra Lee (Mark) Miles, of Juliaetta, Idaho, Darren Odell Godfrey of Downey, Idaho, Steven Dirk (Tammy) Godfrey of Pocatello, Idaho. Myrna and Kelton later divorced and she married Theron (Jake) Foster who had two daughters, Bonnie (Garry) Harrison of Semi Valley, California, and Diana Hadley of Pocatello, Idaho. She is survived by her three children, two stepdaughters, nine grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers Sterling Brangham, Coeur d Alene, Idaho, Lehn Brangham (MaryLyn) of Malad, Idaho and five sisters, Lavenna Rae Long of Lava Hot Springs, Shirley (Warren) Grether of Central Point, Oregon, NaVada Winn of Boise, Idaho, Betty Lou (Jerry) Tripp of Granger, Wyoming, and Barbara (Jim) Griggs of Twin Falls, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake, her former husband, one daughter-in-law, her parents, and two brothers. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 9 at 11:00 a.m. in Horsley’s Marsh Valley Funeral Home, 570 N. Meadowview Dr. in Arimo. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday morning from 10:00-10:50 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Downey City Cemetery.
