May J. Yearsley

Funeral Wednesday for Mary J. Yearsley, 58
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at Malad Second LDS Ward Chapel for May J. Yearsley, age 58, who died Sunday at her home following a short illness.
Miss Yearsley was born at Woodruff, Idaho, Dec. 6, 1918, the daughter of Nathan David and Julia Ann Gibbs Yearsley. She received her education in the Woodruff schools and was active in the LDS church.
Survivors include three brothers, Karl Yearsley, Richland, Washington; Ralph Dee Yearsley, Brigham City, Utah; Melvin Yearsley, Malad; one sister, Mrs. Alta Raymond, Malad.
Bishop Gordon Crowther officiated. Family prayer was offered by Delbert Dabb; invocation. Ralph Yearsley, and benediction, Patriarch Movie Facer. Speakers were Elder Devere Harris and Bishop Crowther, who read the obituary. Solos were sung by Arlis Sweeten and Eldon Corbridge, accompanied by Myra Jean John. Mrs. John also played prelude and postlude music.
Burial was in Brigham City Cemetery with Bishop Nathan Yearsley offering the dedicatory prayer.
Malad Second LDS Ward Relief Society, Florence Hubbard, was in charge of flowers.
Casket bearers were Delmore Yearsley, Delbert Dabb, Ralph Yearsley, Nathan Yearsley, Edward Raymond and LouDell Reese.
Benson Funeral Home was In charge of arrangements.
