May Muir dies in Salt Lake

May J. Muir, 76, Bountiful, Utah passed away Tuesday, April 22, at the Cottonwood Hospital in Salt Lake City.

She was born in Portage, Utah March 31, 1904, to Thomas Parley and Annie Maria Wells John.

She married Vern B. Muir and they lived in Logan where they operated a grocery store there. After retiring they moved to Bountiful, Utah.

Survivors include five daughters: Mrs. Ross (Marva) Weaver of Provo, Utah; Mrs. Dick (Anna Jane) Harper, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Warren (Verla) Jensen of Delta, Utah; Mrs. Collin (LuDean) Thompson of North Dakota; Mrs. Larry (Margaret Gail) Olpin of Warrenburg, Missouri. Sisters, Lorraine Issacson and Rosella Smith of Malad; sister-in-law Vereen John of Malad and Ethel Smith of Camerillo, California. One brother, DeMour John of Caldwell, Idaho.
