Mrs. Maude Anderson dies after stroke

Mrs. Maude Ann Evans Anderson, age 76, died Sunday, March 7, 1976, in Boswell memorial Hospital, of a stroke, Sun City, Arizona.

She was born August 21, 1899, at Malad City, Idaho, a daughter of Richard M. and Alice Evans Evans.

She was married to J. William (Bill) Anderson October 12, 1920, in Malad City. Mr. Anderson died Jan. 10, 1957.

Mrs. Anderson was a member of the LDS Church; member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Eagles Auxiliary, Native Daughters Idaho Pioneers, Past president P.T.A.

Survivors include five sons and three daughters: John E. Anderson and David R. Anderson, both Pocatello; William E. Anderson, Downey, Idaho; Major Dan E. Anderson, USAF retired, Malad; Dean Y. Anderson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Alice Beth McCartin, Redding, Calif.; Mrs. Vergil (Helen) Browder, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Farrell (Marilyn) Lush, Los Angeles, Calif.; 35 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday (March 11, 1976) at 12 noon in the Malad Fourth LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Darrell Swartz officiating.

Friends may call Benson Funeral Home Wednesday evening and Thursday prior to service. Burial will be in the Malad City cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are by the Benson Funeral Home.

Services held for Mrs. Maude Anderson

Bishop Darrell Swartz officiated at Thursday services for Mrs. Maude Evans Anderson, 76, who died March 7th in Sun City, Arizona.

At the Benson Funeral Home, Dr. Grant Y. Anderson offered the family prayer and at the Malad LDS Fourth Ward Chapel, prelude and postlude music was played by Myra Jean John; invocation, St. Steven P. Hockett; vocal solo, Eldon Corbridge; remarks, Bishop Darrell Swartz; vocal solo, Connie Budge; benediction, Ren Dives. Mrs. Myra Jean John was accompanist for the musical numbers.

At concluding rites at the Malad City Cemetery, Raiford Benson offered the dedicatory prayer.

Flowers were carried by members of the American Legion Auxiliary with casket bearers being Bobby J. Anderson, Sherman B. Anderson, Howard W. McCartin, Dennis V. Browder, Lewis J. Anderson, Michael D. Anderson, Jeffery A. Lusk, J. D. Anderson.
