Mary Florence Leiser

Mary Florence Leiser, age 88, passed away peacefully at the Oneida County Long-Term Care facility in Malad, Idaho, on April 21, 2012.
Florence was born on December 31, 1923, to Charles Edward Wilson and Mary Eunice Grigg, Payson, Utah. She was the youngest of five brothers and one sister, all who preceded her in death. Florence was married to Stanley Leiser until their divorce in 1980. He died in March 2000.
Florence lived in Utah until she moved to San Francisco in 1951. She worked in California as a retail clerk at the Broadway Department Stores (Macy’s) for several years, moved to Las Vegas, Nevada for a while, and then returned to California. Her greatest happiness was her family and traveling. She spent four weeks in Frankfurt, Germany with her son, Bob, and his late wife (Tamara Evans of Malad). She also traveled to Saudi Arabia for five weeks with her son Bob and his wife as well. In between these trips, she traveled to Ohio and lived there for a while with her son, David, and his children; and made trips to San Antonio, Texas, to visit her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Florence came to Malad, Idaho, on December 23, 2007, to live with her son, Bob. She moved to the Malad Long-Term Care facility where she remained until her passing. She is survived by her son, Robert Leiser, Malad; a daughter, Susan, who passed away in 2002; sons James Leiser (Gwin), Bend, Oregon and David Leiser, Kettering, Ohio. She has seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
There were no services for Florence after her cremation, as she wanted to leave “Quietly”.
