Ogden, Utah….. Marvin Rance Christensen, 50, left this life Friday, Dec. 2, 2016. Rance was born on October 2, 1966, in Pocatello, Idaho to Marvin and Mary Christensen. He was raised and educated in the Marsh Valley school district, graduating class of 1984. During this time, Rance participated band, plays, and many sports. Rance also was an avid farm worker assisting on the family ranch. Rance went on to further his education and became a radio DJ in the Salt Lake City area. He then moved to California to become a mortician/funeral director. He married Tiffany Lundahl where they went onto have four beautiful children together, in whom Rance adored. Rance was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held numerous callings but his love was scouting. Recently he lived in Marriott-Slaterville, Utah. He is survived by Tiffany Christensen, sons-Dillon, Kelton, and Kohl; daughter-Clancy; grand daughter-Kameron. Siblings Susan (Dennis) Lasley, Steve (Debbie) Christensen, Don Christensen, Rhonda (Dan)Pickens, Robin (Michael) Zohner; step sister-Linda (Soren) Pierce; step mom-Louise Sluder as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Rodney(Karen), and grand daughter Kimber. Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 9, 2016 at noon in the Virginia Idaho LDS chapel. Friends and extended family may call prior to services at the chapel, 10-11:30 am. Burial will follow in the Arimo, Idaho cemetery.
