Margo Ann Flint Mullen

BRIGHAM CITY – Margo Ann Flint Mullen took her final step from this life on Saturday, May 2, 1998 at Ogden Regional Medical Center.

She was born on July 13, 1938 to Richard A. Flint and Naomi Thenis Mina West. She became the eighth of ten children born to them.

Margo attended schools in Brigham City, Tooele, and Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was employed her adult life in Brigham City. She was an Advertising Associate for J.C. Penny Co., Advertising Manager for the Box Elder News Journal, Advertising Manager for Hamilton Drug Centers, and co-partner in a fabric store (Sew What?)

Margo married Robert Eugene Mullen on August 13, 1977 in the Community Presbyterian Church in Brigham City. He taught her to love his passion (football).

She was a member of the Brigham City Soroptimist Club and The Rocket Club of Credit Professionals International. She served on several city councils, was the first woman elected to the Chamber of Commerce board of directors, and was always there to lend a helping hand and come up with new ideas for her friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Nadel (Mrs. Francis W. Witt), of Willard. She is survived by four sisters, two brothers and their families: Shirley (Mrs. Bud) Flenner, Portland, Ore.; Beverly (Mrs. Ralph) Wilson, Medford, Ore.; Beth (Mrs. Sam) Walden, Wheatland, Calif.; Nancy (Mrs.) Leland) Gross, Brigham City; Bill Flint, North Willard; and Gerald Flint.

Memorial services will be held in the form of a celebration of her life at Petersen Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, on Thursday at 10 a.m. Come join her friends as they bid her farewell. Refreshments will be served. She requested no viewing and for smiles to replace sadness. She’s found her way home. She will be buried in the Mountainside Cemetery at Malad, Idaho.
