Mrs. Margaret Ipsen Died Wednesday
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret May Wight Ipsen, 79, who died at the Oneida hospital in Malad Wednesday, October 25, after a short illness, will be conducted Friday a: 2 p.m. in the Pleasant View Ward L.D.S. chapel, with Bishop John Roderick conducting.
Mrs. Ipsen was born July 28 1871 at Brigham City, Utah, a “daughter of Lyman and Harriett Bateman Wight.
She was reared and educated in the Brigham City schools. She was married to Nephi P. Ipsen, February 15, 1893, in the Logan L.D.S. Temple. They made their home in Brigham City and vicinity until 1901 when they moved to Pleasantview district near Malad where they and j their family were engaged in farming.
Mr. Ipsen died September 29, 1937. Mrs. Ipsen had served as Relief Society president for 17 years and had also been active in primary work.
She is survived by the following sons and daughters; Nephi R. Ipsen, Lyman Ipsen, Mrs. Jetta Isaacson; Malad Rt. 1; T. Lester Ipsen Sacramento. Calif.; Lewis Ipsen. Capella, California; Lewis Ipsen, Capella California; Mrs. Ella Gilbert, Corinne, Utah, also 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Mrs. Ipsen’s home Thursday evening and Friday until time of services.
Burial will be in the Pleasantview cemetery.
