Margaret Davis, 82, of Ontario, OR died September 7, 2002 at her son’s home in Boise, ID.

Friends are welcome to attend a viewing with family members Wednesday evening from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lien Kaemper Chapel in Ontario. Graveside services will be held today, September 12, 2002 at Evergreen Cemetery in Ontario.

Margaret was born December 15, 1919 in Pleasant View, ID, to George and Rose Thomson, the seventh of nine children. She met her husband of 53 years, Art Davis in Malad, ID. They were married March 5, 1949.

Margaret was a homemaker raising their two sons: Richard, born September, 1950, and Kelly, born April, 1954. Due to Art’s work with Mountain Bell, Margaret spent many years moving and setting up her family’s home in ten different towns in southern Idaho. Their final move was to Ontario, OR in 1972 where Art retired.

Art and Margaret were very social people, involved with Elks Lodge where she loved to dance and socialize. She loved to sew and took classes and became a very talented seamstress. Her family and friends mostly remember Margaret as the friendly lady that loved to go to the mall and around town to share her pocketbook full of jokes to all that would listen. She would always have a batch of Blarney Stones started in her kitchen that she loved to make for her family and friends.

Margaret is survived by her sons: Richard (Carol), Boise, ID, and children, Tiffany, Aristen and Spencer; Kelly (Nancy), Scottsdale, AZ, and their children, Dalton and Austin; two brothers, Ren Thomson and his wife, Sally, Malad, ID and Roy Thomson and his wife, Lou, of Bountiful, UT.

Her parents, husband, sister, Ruth and brothers, Robert, George, Richard, Si and Melvin preceded her in death.
