Mabel A. Fisher

Mabel A. Fisher, 90, 382 Wayne, died Thursday afternoon, Sept. 19, 1996, at her home of natural causes.

She was born Nov. 13, 1905, in Rockland, Idaho, to Peter and Estella May Lish Anderson. She was raised and educated in Rockland. She married Harry Edward Fisher on March 18, 1925, in Pocatello. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening and her grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Boilermaker Society of Pocatello. Mabel was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by a son and his wife, John E. and Anita Fisher; a daughter, Elaine Ray, all of Pocatello; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Burton and Emogene Anderson of Rockland; two sister, Delma Gage, Dietrich. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; her parents; and a daughter, Berry Nell.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 24, 1996, at 2 p.m. in The Mountain View Cemetery, Section 27, West Pocatello, with George See conducting. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the Henderson-Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello, prior to graveside services at the cemetery.
