Malad…Lynn H. Goff, 96, passed away Saturday, November 14th, 2020. Lynn was born on June 30, 1924, in Oberwoen, Germany to Frederick William and Caroline Hupe Huxhold.

In 1926 her family emigrated to the United States where they lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is where Lynn first remembered collecting pretty rocks.

In 1931 their family traveled to Utah where they lived permanently.

During her senior year she had to quit school to care for an ailing mother.

Lynn married Doral William Goff on October 7th, 1951. She was widowed February 21st, 1957 and returned to live in Salt Lake with her two daughters.

February 20, 1972 Lynn went to work for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Real Estate Department as a file clerk. She returned to school to get her high school diploma and a Real Estate License. She retired on March 1, 1992 from the Department of International Physical Facilities Acquisition.

Lynn moved to Idaho to live with her daughter Cynthia. She is survived by her 2 daughters Joan (Don) Young and Cynthia Clarke (Jerry Rose) 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sisters Frieda Loscher, Emma Schmidt Jones and brother Frederick Arthur Huxhold.

Graveside services will be at the Larkin Sunset Lawn in Salt Lake City on Friday, November 20th at 1:00 PM. 2350 E 1300 S, Salt Lake City, Utah 84108.
