Lola Petersen Beeton

MALAD — Lola Petersen Beeton, 81, died Monday, Dec. 28, 1992, at the home of her son in Soda Springs of natural causes.
She was born Dec. 15, 1911, to William and Zina Williams Petersen. She married Lloyd Beeton Nov. 16, 1933 at Woodruff, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. Mr. Beeton passed away Sept. 14, 1973.
She was active in the LDS Church all of her life. She worked in the junior Sunday school for 25 years, and as a visiting teacher all of her life. She loved doing temple work. She worked at the school lunch program for at least 25 years.
She is survived by one son and two daughters, Sheldon L. Beeton, Soda Springs, Neva B. Bake, Tooele, Utah.; and Connie B. Jensen, of Pocatello; also 11 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters; and one brother, William E. Petersen, Pleasant Grove, Utah. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Elvera Haws.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Dec. 31, at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home in Malad. Friends may call at the funeral home in Malad on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Thursday prior to services. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
