Lois Price Clark

Lois Price Clark, 75, 163 Fairmont, died Friday morning, Jan. 5, 1996, at her daughter’s home in Ogden, Utah, from cancer.

She was born Dec. 23, 1920, at Malad City, Idaho, to John Daniels and Stella Bowen Price. She was raised in the Arbon Valley and attended schools in American Falls and Pocatello. She was a graduate of the School of Technology in Cosmetology at Idaho State.

She married Jack Clark on June 1. 1937, in Pocatello, and were later divorced. She remarried Jack Clark on April 16, 1957, in Pocatello. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on Sept. 26, 1987. He preceded her in death on Aug. 24, 1988.

She was a cosmetology instructor and beautician in the Boise and Pocatello area, retiring in 1980. Lois enjoyed fishing and crocheting.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held various positions inall auxiliaries of the church. She was a volunteer for “Sharing and Caring,” and various charity drives.

She is survived by a son and his wife, Jack L. and Marjorie Clark of Albuquerque, N.M.; a step-son and his wife, Steven and LaVancha Clark of Blackfoot; a daughter and he husband, Janene C. and Paul Toone of Pleasantview, Utah; a foster daughter, Josie Bernat of Reno, Nev.; 12 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren; 2 foster grandchildren; 2 brothers and their wives, Dean B. and Carma Price of Pocatello, J. Boyd and Dora Price of Reno, Nev.; and a niece who was raised as a sister, Jackie R. Fae and John Kildew of Rockland.

She was preceded in death besides her husband Jack, by her parents; a sister, Elaine P. Roper; and a brother Jay Dee Price.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Jan. 8, 1996, at 11 a.m. in the Pocatello Alameda First Wad [sic], corner of Jefferson and Walnut, with Bishop John E. Fitzen presiding. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Henderson Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello, and from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church on Monday prior to services. Interment will be in the Mountainview Cemetery, Pocatello.

She was awed by the love and care of her friends and family. A special thanks to her doctor, Michael Francisco, and his staff; the doctor and staff at the Intermountain Cancer Center, Hospice, and her special nurse; Mardene Smith, Geraldine Critchley, and the sisters of the Alameda First Relief Society.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be give [given] in Lois’s name to the Intermountain Cancer Center, on Memorial Dr., Pocatello, Idaho 83201.
