Lois Jane Cutler Lish

Lois Jane Cutler Lish, 84, Our beloved mother & grandmother, passed through the veil into immortality July 30th, 2016. Born August 24, 1931, in Pocatello, ID to Ephriam (E. V. Cutler) and Juanita Duncan Cutler, raised at Fort Hall. Lois attended school in Tyhee and Pocatello. She was married November 10th, 1948 to William S. Lish in Tyhee. This marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls, LDS Temple. Lois and Willie made their home in Pocatello, McCammon, Soda Springs, Arimo, Salt Lake City and then back to Arimo. When mom Passed she was living in Pocatello with Bart & Lori Lish. Lois served in many positions in the LDS Church, as a Stake and Ward Young women advisor, primary teacher, Relief Society President and Secretary, visiting teacher, Compassionate Service Leader and she worked on name extraction in Salt Lake City. Lois worked at Idaho State University and the Lion House (Brigham Young Home) In Salt Lake City, Utah. Lois is survived by her five children Pamela (Bill) Randall, (McCammon, ID) Sherry (John) Howell, (McCammon, ID) Gene (Debby) Lish, (Rock Springs, Wyoming) Bart (Lori) Lish, (Pocatello, ID) and Kurt (Teresa Steele) Lish, (Salt Lake City, Utah), Val (Arnie) Shurz of Arizona, 17 Grandchildren and 39 Great-Grandchildren and 6 great, great-grandchildren. Lois was proceeded in death by Husband William S. Lish, Son Kelly Dale Lish, Brothers: Virgil, Pug and Alvin Cutler, Sister: Anita (Cutler) Andersen Her love for her family was her purpose in life. Lois treated her friends as special as she treated her family, she made everyone in her presence know that she loved them. Mom will be greatly missed by all. The family would like to send out thanks to all who have supported them through this difficult time. A special thanks goes out to Encompass Hospice Care Team, The Arimo Ward, Chubbuck 11th Ward and Horsley’s Marsh Valley Funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 3 at 12 noon in the Arimo LDS Stake Center. Friends may visit with the family at the church Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm and Wednesday morning from 10:30-11:45 a.m. Burial will follow in the Norton Cemetery.
