Lois Bennett Allen

Portage- Lois Bennett Allen, 78 died Friday, December 18, 1992 at the McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden following a lengthy illness.
She was born December 16, 1914 in Malad, Idaho, a daughter of Frank and Mary Jones Bennett.
She married Gibbs Allen December 17, 1935 in Ogden.
Mrs. Allen was reared and educated in Malad, Idaho, had lived in Walla Walla Washington. After her marriage, she moved to Portage where she resided until her death.
She and her husband owned and operated a farm in Portage. She was a “people” person and enjoyed being around people. She was also an animal lover.
She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Survivors include her husband of Portage; one daughter and one son; Rochelle Larson, Enterprise, Oregon; Larry and Elna Allen, Portage; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; one brother Jack Bennett, Spokane, Washington; one sister; Mrs. Lawana Reger, Walla Walla, Washington.
Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, December 22, 1992 at 12 noon in the Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, Tremonton. Interment was in the Portage Cemetery
